Great Response: Submission from 21 European Cities for the Urban C-ITS Contest
By July 31st, the application period for the Urban C-ITS Contest has ended. A considerable number of applications have been sent, with a total of 21 cities from 10 member states (listed below) submitting their applications. The contest, aims at promoting smart urban mobility solutions through Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), has garnered significant interest across Europe.
With 21 cities now in the running, the competition promises to showcase some of the most promising advancements in urban transportation.While the deadline for applications has passed, the registration for the event is still open until August 18th.
The evaluation committee is already gathering to discuss the evaluation process. The committee will assess each proposal to identify the winner cities in 11 different categories.
The results of the evaluation will be made public on September 15th, providing participating cities and the wider public with insights into the strengths in the proposed projects.
